When Drake & Josh went off the air, both Josh Peck and Drake Bell committed to fit lifestyles. Cast member Allison Scagliotti might not be talked about as much as her co-stars. But the actress leads a really cool life years after the popular Nickelodeon series concluded. Now in her early 30s and famous for playing Mindy Crenshaw on Drake & Josh, Allison Scagliotti is following her heart. And she's expressing herself creatively in a different career.

What is Allison Scagliotti doing now? And what other artistic career has stolen her attention? Her story is definitely a motivating and inspiring one.

What Did Allison Scagliotti Do After Drake & Josh?

Allison Scagliotti has a higher net worth than some Drake & Josh cast members. She did keep acting after Drake & Josh's 2007 series finale. She played Abby Brown in three episodes of One Tree Hill in 2006 and 2007. She played Mindy Crenshaw again in the TV movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh. But she only had small roles on TV until she was cast in Warehouse 13 as Claudia Donovan. The show aired from 2009 to 2014.

However, besides playing Georgie Dowling in a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries, Scagliotti's most beloved role was definitely Mindy on Drake & Josh. And while she does still love acting, she is focusing on another creative industry. Her path is proof that people can do whatever they set their minds to.

Allison Scagliotti is now a singer who calls herself La Femme Pendu. Before that, she and Jerry Trainor, who also starred in Drake And Josh, were part of the band Nice Enough People. They only lasted from 2015 to 2018, though.

Scagliotti put out her EP "All Them Witches" in 2019 and her debut album "Absolute Horror" one year later. She posts snapshots of a singer's life on Instagram, whether she's rehearsing for a show or having some fun playing at home. She's a fun celebrity to follow on social media and Drake & Josh fans definitely enjoy seeing what she's doing.

Scagliotti has loved music for a long time. In May 2023, she posted a photo of herself holding a Joan Jett Signature Gibson guitar, which she had just sold on Reverb. She shared the good memories she has of this guitar and wrote in the caption, "I bought my very first electric guitar at 19 years old."

She continued, "I toted her all around the world with me. Through the snow to lessons in Toronto. To my Bowery apartment during my semester at NYU. Sprinting to catch my plane out of Heathrow after a trip to see Saul’s play. I played her in my teenage bedroom, at open mic nights, friends’ apartments, studio sessions for @lafemmependu, and @ultimatejamnight. To whoever just bought her on @reverb, I hope she brings you as much joy and inspiration as she brought me. Take good care of my first love."

The actress began working toward her Interdisciplinary Music Studies degree at Berklee Online in 2015.

As she explained in an interview with Berklee Online, she took ballet classes when she was young and has always been a huge music person. It sounds like she knew that this would become part of her life.

Scagliotti told the website about the things that she wants to achieve in the music industry. She said, "I have a long-standing dream of producing my own album of classic blues covers, playing a musician on film, and starring in a Broadway musical – a lean list! To me, there’s no line between the two: there’s music in acting and acting in music."

A decade ago, Allison Scagliotti participated in a Reddit "AMA" and answered a question about how she had changed as an actress as she has gotten older.

She said, "I did my first episode of Drake and Josh when I was 13 years old. I shot my last episode of Warehouse 13 3 weeks shy of my 23rd birthday. So you know, life. I also had an incredible teacher in Saul Rubinek, and my accumulated hours of being on a working set multiplied exponentially."

She continued, "What I hope is that I never STOP growing. Most of the "greats" will tell you they never stop learning, growing, studying. I want to be great. That's not something you arrive it. The process never stops."

The actress told TV Over Mind that she didn't see much in common between her Drake & Josh character Mindy and Claudia, who she played on Warehouse 13. But it sounds like she loved playing them both and could see that they each had strengths.

Scagliotti said of her two well-known characters, "While they are both strong and smart and they go after what they want, Mindy was far more buttoned up and conservative where Claudia’s not afraid to dance in the aisles, get in trouble with the artifacts, and maybe talk back to Artie a couple of times."
